At SmileTown: Just Kids Dentistry, our number one priority is always your child. We want them to have a fun, educational, and positive experience every time they come to see us. That way, when it comes time for their next checkup and cleaning with our children’s dentists, they’ll have their shoes on and be ready to leave the house before you are! In order to create a welcoming and kid-centered environment where your little one feels safe, we follow three golden rules: we hear and listen to kids, we respect kids, and we help kids feel comfortable. We Hear & Listen to Kids
In order for children to feel comfortable in a new environment, they need to feel safe! Our team understands and embodies this by making sure that every time a child asks a question or tells us something they do or don’t like, we hear what they’re saying and take it to heart. We firmly believe that they’re the most important voice in the room.
We Respect Kids
Hand-in-hand with our first golden rule, we hear and listen to kids, we also respect kids. Our office is a consent-focused space. We do our best to collapse the patient-dentist hierarchy by creating a kid-focused, fun space where they feel like they’re on top of the world! By listening and hearing children, we aim to form an environment where kids know that they can speak up and their wishes will be respected by every member of our team.
We Help Kids Feel Comfortable
Lastly, we make sure that they experience as little distress and discomfort as possible at SmileTown: Just Kids Dentistry. Our children’s dentists offer helpful services like dental sedation to ease any anxiety or fear of the dental office and make sure that our team sparks excitement and play in them, not worry.
